The Religious Views of 20-Somethings, Part 1 | Out of Ur | Conversations for Ministry Leaders

I would love to get your responses to this article on the views of the 20-Somethings. Especially those who fall within that age group, or are at least closer to it than I am. ;o)

I once heard a speaker say that Jesus will never be irrelevant. It caused me to stop and think, a lot! In listening to the 20-somethings that I know, in many ways church has become irrelevant, religion has become very stifling and narrow and those that are active in their faith are only active because other people are taking an interest in them, building relationships with them, showing them Jesus...who they find pretty relevant to life. This article says pretty much what I've heard from those I know in this age group.

Thanks Brittany,

The "funny" thing is, this is the same thing we "Jesus People" were saying in the late 60's and early 70's"

Maybe this is Jesus-People 2.0! ;o)
